On June 24th Starters+Startups together with Do It In Person and SCENEPR! will play host to BEERTECH at Village Pourhouse, 64 3rd Avenue (corner of 11th street), in NYC.
BEERTECH features great beer tasting (Ticket includes 4 Beer Craft Tastings (Pick from 8 Beers)) and food as well as presentations from Alex Shapiro, Founder/Amusemi | Michael Kane, Managing Partner/Morefield Partners and Matt Bruck, Co-Founder/Joios.
Mike is an experienced entrepreneur, investor, and advisor. He is a founder and Managing Partner at Morefield Partners. Their incubation platform- named “The Field”- is where entrepreneurship has no fences or boundaries. Mike works with the select few innovators who want to challenge the status quo and truly change the world. In The Field, the focus is on partnering with non-technical entrepreneurs seeking to build applications that present new and unique solutions to everyday problems. With Amusemi Alex hopes to build a social network with its own unique data set. This way Alex's company can own the data rather than providing data analysis tools for other businesses.
Matt Bruck is the CoFounder/President of Joios and Managing Director of McDuff Advisors. Matt has 15 years building businesses, re-defining business models, leading execution and generating high ROI in challenging environments (startups, turnarounds).
