SPEAKERS:

Duy Huynh, CEO
Taap.it

Originally from Vietnam, Duy Huynh came to the U.S. for college and lived all over the states including Wisconsin, Maryland, North Carolina, and finally New York where he has been for the last 5 years. After years of working in the corporate world, Duy founded his 3rd startup, Taap.it Live Local in March 2011.

Taap.it is a mobile app based out of New York City. Our main feature is the ability to find stores nearby and purchase whatever items you need using the app and either go pick it up or have it delivered to you. We also offer a social media interaction feature that allows users to share what they are doing wherever they go. We believe that hat you are doing inside of a place is more important than the place itself. It's fun for the users and it’s also highly beneficial for small businesses, since the more their items are rated and shared the more visible their stores will become.

Yago Amerlinck Huerta, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer
Wyst Digital, Inc.

* Born in Mexico and raised in Europe, Yago graduated from Columbia University in 2006 under a full-tuition scholarship. Upon graduating, he joined Digitas - the world's largest digital advertising agency - as a digital strategist. At Digitas, he accrued 5 years of experience in digital media & advertising, advising blue-chip brands such as American Express, Time Inc, The New York Times, Mars and Samsung, & eventually rising to Associate Director. At which point he clearly lost his marbles and decided to launch an internet startup: Wyst.
* Yago lives in Brooklyn, and knows more about indie music than is probably healthy for a normal human being.

Iker Amerlinck Huerta, Co-founder and CEO
Wyst Digital, Inc.

* Iker's career has taken him around the world: he has worked in over 25 countries, and speaks 4 languages (even more when drunk). He has 2+ years startup experience in Sales & Marketing for Venere.com, a travel portal recently bought by Expedia, and 5 years experience in Strategic Planning for CEMEX in Latin America, Asia & Australia. Iker obtained his MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and NYU Stern in 2011, at which point he turned down multiple job offers and decided to give the whole 'entrepeneurship' thing a try.
* Iker splits his time between Mexico City and Brooklyn, and has probably traveled to more countries than Hillary Clinton.
